Tyler was our server and he was excellent! Friendly staff and the food was delicious! I highly recommend Top O’ The River. Guntersville is such a pretty town and the lake so pretty!
This use to be a destination place for us. Special occasion kinda place because it’s an hour away from our home. The food was not terrible but it was just average. The prices haven’t changed much which probably explains why the portions have decreased but $4.50 for domestic beer is pretty dang high. The location is great but you will have to overlook the not so filled in swimming pool & overgrown vacant lot next door that has been that way for several years. Hate that it’s gone down hill.
Several of our party of 11 got the Riverboat special- All satisfied! I prefer the slaw, greens, pickled onions & cornbread myself. Delicious food!! Our waitress worked not only our table of 11 but also a group of 52! She was amazing!! She earned better than 20% tip & we let her know we appreciated her!!
I have had better shrimp at home but the people who were with me said the steaks were good. Noisy!
