Fred at Top Notch has done and/or managed several jobs for me, large and small, covering both carpentry and painting, at properties in Somerville and Arlington. The attached photo shows his crew repainting a 3-story house in Somerville, where I live, in spring 2025. Fred's quotes are competitive and his workers are always good, he's quite responsive to communication (mostly SMS), and he keeps better notes than most contractors on things like what paint color was used. Worth hiring, and worth forming a relationship with!
