A very knowledgeable and professional team who can problem solve especially if you own a fireplace that was built poorly, has little insulation, and brings in a cold draft in the winter time. Love that they can schedule you annually for cleaning. Thx, Team! (Will, Victor, Chris, et al.)
I called this company because the evening I moved into my new home in DeForest I inadvertently broke the damper rod in the wood burning stove. The guys walked me through how a service call would work and then also walked me through the steps if I wanted to try fixing it myself. They even called me back for my email so they could send over an exploded parts diagram. Absolutely fantastic customer service and I’ve never even been there before. I would definitely recommend these people!

I had a technical question about a fireplace that Mark spent a good amount of time helping me with despite the fact that the unit was not one that he sells. It's this kind of customer service I value and I would highly recommend purchasing from Top Hat!
Brandon and Eric were very helpful and knowledgeable when they came to inspect our potbelly stove and chimney. They helped us understand how to improve heat generation and gave some safety tips on proper stove pipe connections. They quickly removed a restricting mesh that was covering the chimney (placed to keep bats out) that was causing smoke backdraft. Now we’re having a cozy fire! Thank you both!
