MG Servicing Department - Terrible service - I drove 4 hours return and cost me a whole day off work for nothing. I need to get my timing belt changed on my MG and I've learnt that it must be done at an MG Dealership because they need a special tool that is not available to my local mechanic. I live in a regional area so I booked in with MG Toowoomba and spoke to them and told them the reason I was going to them was because they need the special tool. I only give 2 stars because when my car was serviced they disabled my car camera and never notified me. It's lucky I checked their work when I got home. I wonder how many customers are driving around with their cameras disabled. I consider this to be a safety issue. The mechanics should return the car in the same condition as they got it. Poor effort guys, pick up your act.
My friend bought a brand-new car less than three months ago, and it has already failed to start three times for no clear reason. When we went to the dealership to report the issue, the woman at the front desk completely brushed us off without giving any proper explanation. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating—definitely one of the worst we've had as customers.
