I've been happy with Bruce and his team for around a decade or so now. They've assisted with my business and personal taxes, along with filing other financial documents. While they understandably get overwhelmed around tax deadlines due to sheer volume, they've always submitted all fiscal information accurately and on time, at a fair price.
On tax day, it was discovered that Toone & Assoc had both my ssn and address incorrect. In speaking with Bruce Toone (at 4pm on tax day) he assured me it was no big deal, the return hadn't been filed & that they would correct the errors. Seconds later (while still on the phone with Bruce Toone) I received an auto generated email confirmation from Toone & Assoc that the return had been filed (with the incorrect information and without my approval). Hi ....is this firm downsizing. I am confused. I got a letter saying they will not my taxes because they are downsizing so does that means they are probably closing that office They did a decent job but I am wondering what happened
