they seemed wonderful at first as long as they were getting paid. when my Medicaid ran out they straight cut me off of all my medication & counseling . They refused to even let me speak to anyone and the manager of the operation told me to no longer call and bother them, that there was nothing they could do if I couldnt pay for services. without taperering me off of my medications or any counseling to help me deal with the sudden lack of 4 different medications. I have been involved with Valley Behavioral health for a little over 2 years now. When I started treatment for drug addiction I was lost and all over the place as far as mental health and my day to day life in general. Thanks to the staff and a couple therapists, as well as my fellow peers that suffer with the disease of addiction. Without the combination of everyone and their advice and vulnerability, this place truly saved my life.
I absolutely love my experience with valley mental health, they were always so reliable and so patient and understanding. Anytime anyone around me mentions therapy I recommend this place. Nicole and Shelly both always go above and beyond and there’s never been a time where I’ve felt like they haven’t actually cared. I feel like I wouldn’t have graduated highschool if it weren’t for them motivating me and pushing me. 10/10
My daughter has been a patient of valley for about 4 years now. Her counciler has helped her overcome so many things in the last few years from finding helpful redirection of her anger and anxiety to just having someone to talk to about her problems and finding healthy solutions to them. They even went out of their way to help my kiddo be apart of some free programs to help her channel her boredom into something good instead of going to pick on her siblings for entertainment. Highly recommend them to anyone.
