My vehicle never needed new cam bearings. After your shop installed the aftermarket camshaft and lifters, the truck ran poorly rough, noisy, and unreliable which is why I ultimately took it to another shop for a second opinion. That shop identified multiple issues with the work performed, including improper engine reassembly, incorrectly installed head gaskets, a broken oil dipstick tube that prevented accurate oil readings, and not installing the parts correctly throughout the repair. Tony is the most knowledgeable and consciencous performance mechanic I have ever met. Don't take my word for it; stop in and meet him. He's always busy but will take time to talk.
Edited: After having my vehicle taken to another shop, it was clear Tony was lazy putting my vehicle back together, they discovered he broke the oil dipstick tube, incorrectly installed the head gaskets, and used poor quality parts in my Durango. After now putting the correct parts back in and doing the job right it now runs like it should again.
