If you like home cooking at a value try Tony's I have been eating at Tony's for 15+ years. Their $4.99 breakfast special is a great value. They also have daily lunch and dinner specials that are reasonably priced at $7.95. They have home cooked food, including veggies, at a very reasonable price. Their pies are 6-8 inches tall. Their staff has been there for years, which tells me they are happy working there.
Make this your dessert stop only Once you get past the heavy chain smokers section near the front door I suggest sticking to dessert and coffee. Most of their pies and cakes are outsourced and really good. Now the notion that this is home cooked or somewhere near that is laughable. Most of the general dinners are just a step above microwave TV dinners and the caliber of a VA Hospital cafeteria. RecommendedMy folks have loved Tony's for yeeeeears and now we know why!! Huge portions, great prices, homemade tasteful foods and all with a smile!! Great service little ladies!!
