I was refused to be seen for an appointment by Dr. Akerkar's practice. I was given an appointment initially only to receive a call they were cancelling my appointment because I had seen another physician from a different practice recently and they would not honor a second opinion request. Dr. Carroll always takes time to address my concerns and suggest life changes, specialists, etc that can help me even after my visit is over. And all visits are this way. He has a way of reducing fear and anxiety when I am overly stressing about my health, yet not belittling it. Regardless of how sick, in pain, or scared about my condition, I always leave feeling lifted up in my spirit and encouraged that he will be with me as I walk the path of my chronic illnesses. Very good I had a colonoscopy . My experienced with staff was better than expected. Very satisfied with the manner the process was conducted.
The doctor was very prompt and courteous.
Dr Hillal is the best without a doubt. I've been going to him for many many years. The problem is his people DO NOT RETURN CALLS! It's been months of me calling and requesting some papers that the doctor himself needs and have been called every day and left messages but nothing. Great results from 3 surgeries. Another scheduled soon (2 knee,2 hip). He and his staff are wonderful. They are professional, patient, efficient, kind.
