I have been eating at Filipi's / Tony's since they were downtown in the sixties. It used to be top notch. I just got home with my usual order...and it is a good argument to buy from Papa Murphy's. Not much difference any more. Tony and Charlie would flip the pizza's which introduces air into the douch. This makes it puff up and creates those air pockets. Now, they roll them out with a rolling pin. This pushes the air out and creates cardboard. They've gone downhill since Tony left, sad to see how it has diminished in quality... read more
RecommendedGreat Italian food and great service! The lasagna was good and cheesy and their bread was amazing.
The main dishes were excellent. Would have like to have had a different warm bread with the meal. Having said that, we ate all the bread too. A good hot Italian garlic bread would have given it 5 stars for us. Would definitely go there again, but I am from Florida, so maybe not. lol
Love the food. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always go to Tony's for special occasions.
Remember going to a Filippi’s as a little girl and having Mr Tony sit at our table and listen to stories of my dad and Mr Tony from years gone by. I love that the place makes the same great authentic pizza I have always loved. Great place for a family gathering and making memories!
It's just not a birthday in our family without Tonys! We love it there❤️
