The food was fantastic as usual...but we had to wait about 10 minutes just for a menu and a glass of water..this is not our first go round here and I've never experienced this but i just thought that was a lil rude/unprofessional!!

I actually ended up coming here by accident. My fiancé and I thought we were meeting friends at the Mandina's in mid city, which we love, but ended up realizing it was Tony Mandina's at the last minute. So happy we did. Our waiter, Glen, was wonderful and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He recommended the shrimp Mandina which was absolutely to die for (had the perfect amount of kick to it which glen warned me about!). My fiancé had the calamari which was a good, solid dish. NIce place, good service. The dinner started well when the valet pointed out a better parking spot for us and our large vehicle, the servers were attentive and hospitality was nice and it was good to see the owner walk around and meet & greet the patrons.
