For Old School Italian it can't be beat ! The" Meatball on End" ( its a Middletown thing) is legendary.....When I get back to town I can't wait to have a large sausage pie in front of me......I enjoy a moment of silence & contemplation while I gaze lovingly at the pie covered with creamy white mozzarella, thinly sliced sausage and the vibrant reds of the San Marzano style tomatoes as a backdrop.......the crust...thin & charred is spots...perfection. Total waste of money: bad-tasting food. Wouldn't eat their food again not even if it were given to me for free.
Good food,..ALWAYS GREAT. Have enjoyed many birthdays, graduations and anniversarys at Tony's with my family. I got delivery and the only reason why I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because the food took almost 1 and 1/4 hrs to get to me. The meatball and sausage in end MELTS in your mouth. I would like a little more chocolate chips in my cannoli. I never understand why people would ever order food from dominos, papa John's when Tony's food is 1000 times better.
We had my mom's 80th birthday party here and everything was incredible. . July 15th 2017 I had my husband's retirement party here and again an amazing experience, from the staff to the amazing food. Everything was perfect...Thank you .....
We've been living in Orange County for over 20 years and this was our first time here. We were celebrating a family birthday and were extremely impressed by the service. The staff was friendly and attentive to our group of 12, but not overbearing. There was another table with a large group, too. The servers definitely knew what they were doing. The flow of the meal was perfect. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Everyone loved their meals. We loved Tony Boffa's and will definitely be back.
My first time and our new favorite restaurant. The staff were super nice and explained the history. This place has a quaint, homey feel...like family. Met some of Tony's family. Food was delicious and portions were HUGE. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
