Had a great experience. Assigned Dimitri as the carpenter who did exceptional work. The deck looks great. Excellent communication throughout the job and were adaptable to our changes.
We are very pleased with the great craftsmanship and the quality of the work delivered by Billy's crew. That being said, the project management aspect—specifically around communication, pricing transparency, and timeline execution—did not at all meet our expectations which I won't go into detail or a timeline on in a google review. I would definitely recommend working with Chuck and his team. They worked with our city to keep the deck to code, they worked fast and professionally and created a beautiful deck for us.
Tonka Decks did our re-deck and re-rail with stairs and a landing in late August/early September 2024. We chose Timbertech in Brown Oak and Westbury black metal railings. Billy took extra time up front to answer all our questions, and there were no surprises with the quote. Michael, the primary carpenter, did an outstanding job constructing our deck.
