The receptionist was extremely rude. They had my name and birthdate wrong in the system so she couldn’t find me. When I told her I called and they gave me an appointment she responded “ I didn’t give you anything I don’t make the appointments” and was very dismissive she didn’t want to help me. The other receptionist in the back called me in and was very helpful and nice. Found me right away. The technician was amazing, very nice and welcoming.
I accompanied my mom to her appointment yesterday for a PET scan. The receptionist never acknowledged me as I stood there. I said “Good morning”only to continue to be ignored. She was using her cell phone at the time. Once she did acknowledge me, she was still abrupt and unwelcoming. In contrast, Geri the technician was so wonderful and patient with my mother, who is claustrophobic and very nervous about the scan. I am severely distraught, victimized, and saddened by how I was mistreated by the technician named Sue. On that day of Aug 13 . I came there to Tom's River X-ray, to just get a mammogram . I met Sue, the technician. During that time, she asked when you going back to your home country? I maintained my cool and spoke nicely .But she kept being nasty, like her attitude just suddenly changed to a nasty, hateful person. I didn't do anything wrong or say anything wrong. I will never go anywhere but Toms River X-ray. Over the years I have become so afraid to get any scans done because I had a pathology report come back from a hospital that said I had cancer. The specimen was sent to Sloan Kettering for a second opinion which turned out to not be cancer. After that I did research on the Radiologist at Toms River XRay, so not only has their staff been nothing but calming when I come there but their Radiologists have extensive knowledge.
