What to do on a Monday while visiting Michigan when all the Art galleries are closed??? Eat seafood at Tom’s Oyster Bar of course!!! We chose the Lobster Bisque cup and small Seafood Tower $69USD (Large: $99). Enough to feed 2-4 people. Surprisingly, we two little asian women ate the whole thing!!! Mind you, we didn’t need to eat a meal again until late night. •Lobster Bisque: delicious and not overly creamy like some, was disappointed it was such a small portion because I wanted more but after seeing the Tower, was glad I o... read more

I like the old original one on mack and alter the best. Of course its gone but not forgotten.
I was in Boston with my wife n daughter celebrating my 64th birthday and was recommended Tom's Oyster Bar. Now that's a birthday treat that can't be beat. The service, the ambience, the oysters!! And it's right downtown with plenty of parking.
great for drinks but won't eat there again

The place to indulge a craving for raw oysters and other finny species. – In Short Much like the other Tom's in this successful seafood chain, the decor is replete with dark wood, stamped tin ceiling and framed covers of the 1920s-era Yachtman's Magazine. Start with various raw oysters, or smoked mackerel and trout, bluefish and salmon pate, calamari, oysters Rockefeller, ginger and Cajun shrimp. The couple dozen fish and seafood selections all arrive fresh. Steak and chicken also available.
Tom's Oyster Bar has a 3.5 star rating with 17 reviews.
