Spring time in the Carolinas and it’s time to do some planting so we made our way to the Denton area to visit Toms Creek Nursery & Landscaping. Toms Creek has a wide selection of plants, trees, and shrubs; just about anything for anyone looking to make some improvements to their yard. Wreath making class was great fun Staff helpful and a great selection of greenery. Even had Christmas music and snacks. Great way to get in the Christmas mood..
I called & wanted 4 Purple Diamond Loropetalum. The young girl said they had 3 & she had them @ the office when I picked them up. One plant was obviously not like the other one but we were in a hurry & loaded them. Once home the difference was very obvious. I called them 3 days later & sent pictures. Another young girl said they believed they were the same from the picture & once bought they are yours...no exchange, no refund. I will never buy anything else there.
Awesome place! Any type of plants you can think of. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. They stand firm on their no return policy as there is no telling what happened to the plant after it leaves company premises. Christina and Kaelyn are great.
We browsed the closest greenhouses and trees. Most are well labeled for size, sun and soil requirements as well as how much deer like the plants. We went into the office and were able to get some advice on which plants would suit our location. We were given a list of plants and a map of where to find them. Tom's Creek is a very large nursery with healthy looking plants. We have had good luck with our previous purchases.
