The painters came in before we had the flooring done, so that they wouldn't have to worry about getting paint on the new flooring. We were a bit worried because the floorers would inevitably scuff the walls when pulling baseboards off and carrying in supplies. The painters assured us not to worry, they would come back after the floors were installed and do touch ups.
