I was not impressed with Dr. Root, he is condescending to patients when asking questions. He made you feel like he didn't have time for you. He did my cataract surgery; I would not recommend him. I had to have several follow up treatments because of complications.
Dr. Root is rude...He told us, he had rooms filled with patients, had no idea we were added to his patients to be seen....was in a rush. Did not answer our questions..got annoyed with us. We spent 2 hours at Tomoka, to be treated like Dr. Root did us.. NOT acceptable...How unprofessional! VA Community Care set up the appt. Tomoka Eye..do not think their Veterans, will be scheduled with Dr. Root in the future, after their follow up call to us, asking how our visit went!
