TOMO Japanese Restaurant" has been in business for more than 15 years in NJ. Recently our whole family just relocated in Orlando, and opened a new TOMO SUSHI & GRILL" in Metro West Orlando(Oct. 17, 2005) Our warm atmosphere and super friendly services and fresh various selection of sushi and grill entrees always make our customers keep coming back.

Lousy food - Lousy people – This has got to be the worst sushi place on the planet. The food was lousy and the servers were idiots. Don't waste your time or money here. We ate the basic rolls and put up with some nasty miso. We will not be back!!
Love this place. – This place is awesome. My girlfriend and I go here at least once a week. The owner and staff are great people and they have some of the best sushi we have ever had. Great menu too: Lots of different rolls and some great apps (try the seabass). The only bad thing (i suppose) is that Tomo is a bit hidden. We actually found it by chance. It is not visible from the street, so just look for the Publix plaza on Hiawassee.
Orlando's Best Kept Secret... – Orlando's best kept secret. I've been dining at various sushi restaurants for the past 7 years. I had yet to call a sushi restaurant my absolute favorite. I dine here at least 3 times a week now. It is more than just my favorite!! They have the freshest food in Orlando! It is very clean and friendly too. Location is fine, because it just means it is Orlando's best kept secret!!!
Kind service, Terrific food! – I took my two children and the Tomo staff were so accomodating! We had lots of sushi, some appetizers and tempura from the kitchen. Everything was fresh and great, even well-timed. The sushi rolls are quite large for the price, and not just full of rice either! The location stinks but the inside is quite nice!
Best Japanese restaurant in Central Florida. – I was really worried I would never find a good Japanese / Sushi restaurant in the state of Florida. I'm so glad I found Tomo. Such a fantastic place, with great fresh food and excellent service.
Great sushi at a cozy place – My 2 friends and I just visited this great sushi restaurant last night. The atmosphere was great and the friendly family style service was A+++++!!! They have many different styles of rolls and great teryaki (if you are into the cooked thing). We will be visiting again soon!
