Wanted to like it but my experiences have made me uneasy. The lines keep getting longer and I don’t feel safe sitting on Abbott to wait in line. This can’t be safe, I can’t imagine the city being ok with this. It’s on a corner with people going 40mph at peak traffic times and an accident waiting to happen. 2 of the 4 times I’ve been, I was stuck behind someone whose plate wouldn’t read and staff acted annoyed they had to come help. I appreciate the vacuums(even though one was broken) on both sides but for what you pay it does a crappy job. The brushes left a small scratch on the side of my car and tires and wheels were still dirty despite paying extra for wheel cleaning. It’s a very fast wash so I can see how it misses so much, but definitely scared to go back.
For me, the best car wash in town.
My vehicle hit the car in front of me while on the conveyor belt. Tommy’s Express will not pay for the damage. Use them at your own risk! I cancelled all my car subscriptions.
Can’t tell you how excited I was to hear about Tommy’s coming to Alaska. As a dually owner, you just deal with a perpetually dirty truck as no other washes can accommodate the wide wheel well. Tommy’s does though! Beautiful, clean facility and nice folks. Only “con” I can think of is that the attendants only power wash the driver side as you enter.
