Interesting experience. I brought my Buick in as it had a small leak in the trunk where water was slowly pooling into where the spare tire is stored. It would take a long time for the water to pool up so I knew it was probably a small leak. I called around and ended up taking it to Tommy’s and they were very friendly and helpful in diagnosing the leak. However they couldn’t identify the main source of the leak. I brought a small project in shortly before closing and they got it straight into production on budget and ready for pickup by noon the next day! I had been trying from 3 other upholstery shops to get this completed, but nobody wanted to take it on as the job was too small. Huge shout out to Ken for getting it done!
I took the seat off my R6 motorcycle because it was too high for me and asked Ken to carve it down about 0.75" to 1". He did exactly that, even letting me test it out before shaving it down a bit more. I am absolutely in love with the final result! Not only did it fix the aggressive ergonomics of my supersport bike, but it didn't sacrifice any comfort at all. Ken works fast and is incredibly patient. He clearly has a lot of experience, and the turnaround time was very quick. I highly recommend him!
Tommy’s Upholstery says they stand behind this work. I’ll let you be the judge. Came in for a trunk leak, and after $800 and 2 visits, the end result looks like they let the new guy do it. Not to mention the poor communication from staff. I asked for transparency on pricing on 2 separate occasions, both times they said they would contact me and I waited several hours before finally calling them. 2010 Mustang Covertable GT, interior side door panels peeling away, as they all of that vintage tend to do. Great job repairing, looks and feels better than original. Very appreciative.
