We hired Tommy Rooter to install a water heater into a manufactured home that we had just purchased in **************, **. I would like to share my experience with Tommy Rooter. Yesterday, the plumber shows up to fix my plumbing issue which was to unclog my toilet. Not even one min into using a snake my toilet was broken. So I had to wait until the plumber came back causing me to miss my doctor's appointment. He shows up 2 hours later with a smaller toilet than what was there. He doesn't change the wax ring nor did he seal the toilet with caulking. The plumber than says that's all that he can do. Horrible experience - Plumber Jeff didn't like answering questions regarding my garbage disposal, which didn't malfunction when he was here. When I wanted to add additional information on the non functionality of the garbage disposal that occurred while he was trouble-shooting on his work order he physically ripped the clipboard out of my hands - and appeared/sounded extremely angry - very scary experience! This company was chosen by Fidelity Home Insurance. I will never use the plumbing company again.
Tommy Router did an excellent job of repiping my entire home at a very reasonable price. A brass tub fixture corroded an older galvanized pipe and it burst inside the wall. Rather than removing the bathtub tile, Tommy Router suggested accessing the plumbing from the adjacent bath wall. There was a huge savings in not having to retile the bath. Upon inspection of the burst pipe, Tommy Router inspected under the house and found many other pipes on the verge of bursting. The whole job took only three days and there was minimal ... read more
