I ordered what looked to be a high-quality Dock ladder that was on sale. The metal is thin, and I found the quality to be poor. I called the company respectfully and told them I’d like to return the ladder and they charged me to ship it back. I hope was that the company would at least split the shipping to send it back because it very clearly isn’t a quality ladder It was my expense in the end. I will also say I love our new dock and we love the way your company is set up. There is no guess work or vague pricing. All prices are laid out openly online and I was able to easily assemble the dock. And it looks beautiful. I attached some pictures of the finished dock. The assembly took time but putting in the water couldn’t have been easier. We bought two stabilizing poles because we ordered a larger dock. The dock is solid. Customer service great as well.
TLDR: extremely impressed and happy with my experience with Tommy Docks. The concept of the flex PWC float is genius. They stand by their product and have a lifelong customer now. I was hesitant to order this as it's a new product and has no reviews or videos online. Most of their competitors are anywhere from $1k-$2k more expensive, but I figured I would take the chance. I purchased a large dock system consisting of a 12' x 16' platform with a 40' walkway and decked it out with corner floats, lights, cleats, pocket fillers and a ladder. I am very happy with my purchase. It took my son and I two half days to complete the installation. Another company with a similar floating dock wanted $10,000 to install it! There was a mix up on shipping, however the customer service department corrected it quickly and efficiently.
