We arrived for the chicken night. I was the first in line to get cut off. Told it would be 45min wait. He calls in 3 tables ahead of me, as they’re a party of 4. We are a party of 2 . The gentleman that was ahead of me in line was seated at a table of 4 by himself. Not impressed.
We visited Tomlin Subdivision and decided to try the famous Perogy Pizza. It was definitely something different and a fun experience. The pizza was tasty, and the dough was especially good—fresh, light, and perfectly baked. We had to wait a little for our order, but it was worth it because everything was made fresh. Sat at the bar with Brad. He’s quite a Gem. The cocktails were delicious and well-priced. The food was bright & bold. Highly recommend the Oyster Mushroom dish. The ribs were seasoned nicely and cooked tender. Oysters were fresh. Overall would recommend this place to anyone!
Pricey, but wonderful food and drinks (the mixologist knows what he's doing!) - best restaurant in the city.
I spent almost 2 weeks in Thunder Bay in June and went to Tomlin many times. It's just sooooo good. I did the 3-course tasting menu with my friends (there were four of us) and I loved the variety of foods from the kitchen. I also went on Tuesday for beef burger night and Wednesday for chicken burger night. The burger sauce is delicious and the food is so fresh. LOVE Tomlin restaurant!
