Food is highly overrated. I know rinky dink would food spots in Philly that’s way better than this. Potato salad was disgusting. Cat fish platter was small with two small pieces of fish. Mac and cheese was ok at best. Greens were ok. Food is a 2 out of 5.
The food was excellent! Definitely homestyle eating. And the staff very welcoming and friendly.
Tomeka’s food reminded me of home as it was made with love! Good soul food can be hard to find, and I can’t express my gratitude for the hospitable staff, the food was already a 10/10 but I always observed them being very organized and kind to everyone. Also the food is made to order, and they usually have “pop up “ specials which are not featured on the menu.
