Our bank used this company for the assessment of a potential condo purchase. They took over two weeks to do it, putting the whole deal at risk, and in the end appraised at over $100,000 below market value. The "comparable" condo they used was 10 years older, in a different part of the city, had double the condo fees, and had inferior finishes such as laminate flooring. We were looking to refinance our mortgage and our bank sent Grant to assess our house. He didn't ask any specific questions during the assessment and never explained the process or how they value a home. Upon hearing the results of the assessment, we felt incredibly dismayed. We did not have unrealistic expectations of what our house was worth, but we knew it was worth more than what was indicated.
