Terrible. The most incompetent Doctor I’ve ever had. Mine was an emergency and I got who I got..he did two surgeries on me and then I sought help. Went to Cleveland Clinic with a wonderful surgeon who had to perform 2 more surgeries to undo the damage Dr. Rogula did. Heartbreaking.
This doctor needs his license taken from him. He insisted on gastric bypass for my husband to help with Barrett’s esophagus. Pre-op tests were ordered & an EGD was started but not completed because my husband woke up during the test. The surgeon said it was up to dr Rogula if he wanted it repeated. Dr Rogula chose not to repeat and he proceeded with gastric bypass surgery which complicated everything. If the EGD had been repeated he would’ve found esophagus cancer. My husband is now terminal.
Seemed very impatient when asked to explain surgeries. If I were you I would go with a different surgeon. Why see somebody who can't even/is unwilling to explain what's going on with a serious surgery?
Seems pretty incompetent. Struggles with words and often mumbles. Had a poor impression of him, so decided not to go with surgery. Later found out he has committed what some view as serious errors as a physician. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
Hands down the most intelligent and capable surgeon I have ever met. Even OR staff had wonderful things to say about him both professionally and personally. I have never felt so well taken care of,or confident in my doctor's abilities as I do with Dr. Rogula. I research a lot and presented some very difficult questions and he never flinches and not only gives an accurate,and in depth answer,but one that is easily understood. I appreciate that when he is with you,he never appears to be in a rush.
