1st time visit to Santa Barbara. Referred to TOMA by a Santa Barbara native. Loved EVERYTHING about this place! Tom and Vickie, owners, very personable; felt like we were friends by the time we left! Tonight was their one year anniversary of TOMA. Service was excellent! We ordered the squash blossoms appetizer, canneloni and lasagna for dinner, and shared the chocolate torte for dessert. Great dining experience! The food and service are incredible. The breaded blue cheese olives start every meal & Arturo the bartender makes fantastic drinks. The Tuscan Pear is a house specialty cocktail & they have a great wine list. The Spring 2014 menu features the absolute best octopus dish I have ever tasted! The guanciale pork pizza with caramelized onions, soft egg, & arrugala is an old favorite of mine. Fabulous appetizers & mouth watering entrees will have you looking forward to your next visit to Toma!
