Tom thumb is great! You can get so many different models and crafting materials there. I needed construction paper (a certain kind) and tom thumb is the only place that had it.
Im not too sure about the other crafts sections, but the models section is limited, overpriced (in some circumstances), and definitely lacking some of the more popular models (which are popular for a good reason).
Tom Thumb is the best place to go for all your craft and hobbie needs. They have a huge stock with a wide variety of items. It is a bit cluttered but as of lately they have been changing the store around to make it more accessable. It is a great place to go if you are looking for doll house furniture, model cars, air planes, and rockets. Also Tom Thumb has a wide variety of beads everything from sworafski crystals to African trade beads to plastic pony beads for the kids. I really liked the selection of stuff to stimulate your creativity. Store looks cluttered and congested due to an over abundance of craft supplies, but its fun to make your way around. Bead counter needs someone more knowledgeable about beads and in-stock supplies. Bead counter is often crowded but the prices are reasonable.
This store has every crafts item you can imagine (except nothing for sewing) at good prices, but the staff is so unknowledgable that you have to go digging for what youre looking for. I have had multiple experiences where I asked the staff if they had a certain item and was told no, then found it on my own. The owner is the only one who knows everything, and only one girl at the beads counter knows all the beads. I really wish they would train their staff better, seeing that the store is so cluttered.
