Worst contractor experience ever. I told this guy that I didn’t want to work with him and offered to pay any expenses he had incurred (which were minimal), but he held a $10k deposit hostage and made it so I either had to sue him to get my money back, or pay his extortion rate. This guy has a bogus excuse for everything and if you don’t call it straight up dishonest, he is “plausibly misleading” to the maximum extent possible.
