Tom and his employee Gilbert did an amazing job painting our 50 year old home in Pine Grove. The old paint was flaking and not matching, and there were even some sections that had bare wood from previous termite repairs. There were lots of tricky sections, such as some rotted paneling that had to be replaced, old AC wall units that were removed with holes to patch, and a sun room with giant windows that needed reglazing, with lots of wood trim that had to be sanded and resealed. It is very difficult to find painters who know how to properly treat a Log Home. Tom and Gilbert are the guys to contact if that type of work is needed. They know how to work with the unique products involved and do the necessary preparation. Our home construction was completed in 2009 and we've had the various structures treated several times over the years. Never has the finish been applied so evenly. Our painted trim is flawless. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Tom Powell Painting!

Tom Powell Painting is the BEST in Amador County and possibly Northern California. We've lived in our Lindal cedar home for twenty years and this is the third time we've had it bleached and stained. I was reasonably happy with the painters I used the prior two times and one of them has been selected "Best" in Amador County.
