Not even worthy of a star. The experience with the Manassas Virginia Camping World and Corporate office of Marcus Lemonis has been absolutely awful! The lack of urgency to resolve the issues, lack of respect and complete discrimination towards paying customers is disgusting! We purchased a used RV in October 2022 and are in the resolution stages of an issue which was to be repaired shortly after purchasing. WARNING: DO NOT CONSIGN your RV with Camping World (CW)! We tried it, and it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a merchant! They make the sleazy, slime-ball used car salespeople we’ve dealt with in the past look like angelic astrophysicists. We bought our 34 ft RV there in 06/2023 for $42,500. We contacted Camping World 09/2023 to sell it back to them. We only needed it to live in while we built out house. We spoke with the Colfax location, then their consignment department, then customer service. Their quote was $18,500! $24,000 less than it was worth 15 months ago. I realize the RV would depreciate in value some, but not $24,000. The consignment department told me we were taken advantage of and paid too much for it. To whom it may concern, we just bought a nice RV 27 foot at Camping World in Lake Worth Texas of Quebec street. The day we bought we went on a trip to Florida for a week. Things fell apart apart in the camper like the bedroom door, USB ports didn't work, door to shower doesn't lock and a couple of little things. We bought it back on week 2 that we have had it. Got a camper, the guy who sold it to us sold us extended warranty that doesnt exist. Roof leaked from day 1. Took almost 2 years and fighting to get fixed. Was told there is no warranty on Coleman. Went to manufacturer to get statement to fix it because camping world refused to do it. Guy who sold it to us got promoted and refused to talk to us. John Dawes and his team at the Sioux Falls Camping World came to the rescue when we were stranded by a faulty brake actuator on our 5th wheel. We live on the road full time and had purchased our 5th wheel from a different dealer in another state. John got us in right away and the repair was done the same day! We are grateful to the entire team for the great service!
While looking at motor homes we made it to Camping World in Wentzville, Mo. We had a great sales lady named Wendy who show us around the lot. We were impressed with the kindness and no pressure sales approach. Wendy is very knowledgeable about the inventory on the lot and very helpful. Thank You .
