I found Dr Thompson to be very very passionate about his job. He gave me excellent care. Had a complete mastectomy with sentinel node lymph node removal as well. He was very professional very caring great bedside manner. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone who needs surgery. I looked into several different surgeons prior to selecting Dr Thompson. Dr Thompson has taken care of several "knots" on my underarm. He is always very patient with me and does his best to cause the least amount of pain when making the incisions. He and his staff also follow up to see how you're feeling and doing. I've dealt with other surgeons before and he by far is the best. I love everyone at the at office.
Dr Thompson and Associates treated me well in the hospital and saved my life for that I am grateful and appreciative....however, I unfortunately lost all confidence in him and his Associates during my aftercare with his office in morristown due to their very poor attitudes and treatment...I now a few years later have a larger than fist sized hernia in my abdomen because him and his associates refused to send me to a g.i. specialist with whom I'd spoken to in the hospital! Dr. Thompson and the staff have provided excellent care to my mom. Dr Thompson is caring and shows compassion to his patients offering encouragement and clear explanations of all treatments.
He was horrible. He told me I had cancer, and I got a second opinion in Knoxville and it was negative (simple cluster cells). Before I got the 2nd opinion, Dr Thompson said the tumor operable but he already made me appointments for Chemo & Radiation with his Morristown Hamblen/Covenant buddies. I believe they have a Scam Ring to get the most amount out of Insurance as possible.
