We were traveling through and Yelp had some good reviews. I normally don’t complain because I am sure these people are hard working but the fried potatoes were hard and the eggs dry and not seasoned. But the worst was the cold gravey. 😐

After a long day of driving the diner was a breath of old fashioned air. Lots of comfort food and plenty of it. Staff was very friendly and prompt.

We ate there last night, we had country fried steak, salisbury steak, and salmon (blackened). It was delicious and our waitress was very polite and efficient.

I had " BBQ chicken", it consisted of two overcooked chicken breast halves covered in some kind of cold sweet commercial bbq sauce. The baked potato must have been cooked several hours earlier and left in a steamer. The vegetable of the day was canned whole kernel corn that had been cooked until it was sticking to my teeth when I chewed it. I will give them credit for the fried chicken that my wife ordered. Apologizes from Tom Suzie's Diner we have gone thru a few cooks here in the last few months. Good help is very difficult to find in this small town.
We had the fried chicken and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. The price was right too. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. We would definitely return if we're back in the area.
