And it's been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO'S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for taste bud nirvana. Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a TOGO.

Without a doubt Togos sandwiches has to be the best large sandwich shop chain I have experienced. I rate Togos first, firehouse subs second, and Jersey Mike's third. The food is always fresh. Bread is soft and tasty, and the combination of veggies, condiments and what would consider top meats and sauces. While I was in San Jose, I traveled to one of the Togos.
