I ordered avocado on one of the sandwiches, which costs extra. I ordered online and picked up the food, so did not see the sandwiches being made. The avocado was left off. I called to ask for a refund for the avocado and was told they can't do that unless you are there in person. The employee did loom up my order to see that avocado was ordered, but said she couldn't do anything. I am happy that Togo's returned to our neighborhood, but am disappointed with this situation. I used to really like TOGO’S. Solid sandwiches, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and the combos actually felt like a good deal. I’d always swap the drink for chips since I usually grabbed a coffee from the Starbucks next door. But now with the new policy, no more drink-for-chips swap, which honestly killed my usual routine. The sandwiches are still good, don’t get me wrong, but that little change made the place way less appealing for me. Haven’t gone back as much since.
