I was passed between therapists and it seems they don’t share notes when they do that, which made me feel ignored. Then I ended up with a therapist that didn’t give much advice or counseling. We would just sit in silence often and it was awkward.

I do not recommend Dr. Howell from Togetherness Counseling as a marital therapist. I believe a marital therapist should be neutral in a session. I did not feel as though I was being heard or understood and sensed that I was not in a safe space when discussing my feelings. Dr. Howell came across as rather cold and aloof and lacking empathy. Perhaps her counseling and communicative strategies are best meant for one on one sessions.

Dr. Erin Howell, LMFT for Togetherness Counseling is a cold and calculating "therapist" and has zero empathy for her clients and has no experience with mental illness. During our first session she not only took sides but managed to embarrass me, make me cry and made me feel that all of our issues were my fault. She has single handedly managed to make our marriage worse! If I could give her zero stars I would.

I have worked with alot of practices and therapists but none have been as good as Togetherness Counseling and Cindy. If you've been through cycles of therapy and want to find a place that truly cares and wants to help, this is the place to go.

You are in great hands at this practice. Tara is brilliant and thoughtful and effective. Q is a rare gem, warm and funny, who puts you first and has a sharp clinical mind to help you reach your goals. Highly recommend!
