I sought out Dr Shrader for over a year, trying to find a doc who does a sub vastus knee replacement, which does not cut the quad tendon. After changing insurance, I decided to have him do my knee with sub vastus approach, which he claims he performs from my research. I had my L knee done this way 10 years ago in Newport Beach, but that doc only does cash now. 10 years ago, I was walking 1 1/2 miles within 3 weeks with little pain.
