Dr. Atkins is a great Doctor. I am one his patients, and highly recommend him. Excellent Doctor, and a great individual
I would not recommend Dr. Adkins. He didn’t listen to my symptoms and because it wasn’t an “emergency” reaction then my allergy wasn’t real. He did not want to test me for allergies and I had to practically beg for him to do it. He invalidated my feelings and made me seem like I was “making up” my allergic reaction. I will be getting a second opinion.
1. He was an hour late. 2. He touched my knee while talking to me. 3. Dr. Adkins invalidated my symptoms because they aren’t “too bad compared to others” and I “should be fine.” 4. Stated that “anxiety never helps” because my medical history mentioned anxiety. I have to believe that Dr. Adkins would have never touched a man’s knee nor invalidated an already diagnosed asthma issue by calling it anxiety.
