My wife left his office in tears after the dismissive and sadistic treatment from this jerk. She has a documented shoulder injury that's hurt her for over a year and sought FMLA coverage for treatment. He drove his thumb into the torn joint, despite objections. And dismissed her FMLA claim instead telling her she just "didn't want to work" and to "get a different job". This waste of education shouldn't be anywhere NEAR a patient with a legitimate injury.
Terrific doctor
Dr. Ream performed ankle and shoulder surgery for me. He did a fantastic job on both! Great bedside manner, too.
Dr Ream has done a superb job on my mother who has had her second knee reconstruction at the age of 85. His staff is responsive to messages left after hours, typically within minutes He will always be recommended
Initially liked him a lot, but as soon as there was a problem he was no longer interested. Would not look into the cause of the severe pain and said there was nothing he could do. Only a plain X-ray done, no further testing. Ordered various medications none of which helped at all. Went to another surgeon who found 3 very fixable problems and they were resolved within 6 weeks. Finally, after suffering for almost a year ( totally unnecessary ) my faith has been restored in the medical profession.
Very happy with Dr. Ream for my ACL reconstruction / meniscectomy. He listened to my questions and gave very good estimates/instructions for my recovery. I'm now 2 years post-op and am back to all my sports activities.
Caring about pain and very thourough in looking at test results
Although I like Dr Ream, I have not heard anything back on the injection for my knee. I have called on several occasions. My last apt was on November 10,2015. I was told I would hear something in 3 weeks. I still have not heard back from anyone there. I called again today. Left another message. Im calling my insurance company to see if anyone has inquired in approval for injection.when my knee locks its painful and scarey. It locked last night in shower. I almost fell out of shower.
