I was having shoulder and arm pain. After a visit to Dr. Ream, and an MRI, a torn rotator cuff was found. He gave me a cortisone shot, which didn't last like we had hoped, so now we are looking at surgery. He explained everything that he will be doing, step by step. Then he explained the recovery time and what was to be expected. I like that he takes his time and explains things to me. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Ream. In a new town, with doctors I knew nothing about, I picked a winner, for sure!
Dr.Ream performed my knee surgery. He is friendly, explained issues and options clearly, and did an excellent job. My knee recovery was excellent and I would highly recommend him.
My wife left his office in tears after the dismissive and sadistic treatment from this jerk. She has a documented shoulder injury that's hurt her for over a year and sought FMLA coverage for treatment. He drove his thumb into the torn joint, despite objections. And dismissed her FMLA claim instead telling her she just "didn't want to work" and to "get a different job". This waste of education shouldn't be anywhere NEAR a patient with a legitimate injury.
Terrific doctor
Dr. Ream performed ankle and shoulder surgery for me. He did a fantastic job on both! Great bedside manner, too.
Dr Ream has done a superb job on my mother who has had her second knee reconstruction at the age of 85. His staff is responsive to messages left after hours, typically within minutes He will always be recommended
Initially liked him a lot, but as soon as there was a problem he was no longer interested. Would not look into the cause of the severe pain and said there was nothing he could do. Only a plain X-ray done, no further testing. Ordered various medications none of which helped at all. Went to another surgeon who found 3 very fixable problems and they were resolved within 6 weeks. Finally, after suffering for almost a year ( totally unnecessary ) my faith has been restored in the medical profession.
Very happy with Dr. Ream for my ACL reconstruction / meniscectomy. He listened to my questions and gave very good estimates/instructions for my recovery. I'm now 2 years post-op and am back to all my sports activities.
