Garbage insurance. Needed them 2x in 45 years..screwed royally the first time and the second time they didn't even bother to come out to see us to help out with storm damage. They just sent emails saying they wont pay anything...45 years of WASTED cash. Sad...switching insurance ASAP.

This review is specific to john santoro branch in lighthouse point. I wanted to put out a review to describe my experience with this State Farm location as a warning to others who are looking to possibly switch to State Farm for insurance coverage. I want to start by saying I have never left a negative review of any business I have dealt with. My experience was horrific. With over 20 years with State Farm and over 7 vehicles insured with them in that time frame we are now leaning due to what we see as extremely bad business practices and extreme lack of customer service. We made the mistake of getting on Auto pay. And as many horror stories go, it’s never a good idea to do this. Over the past 3 years with no accidents our rates have been going up up up. I was covered by state farm for a while until I had an accident that left me unable to drive back in June of 2017. I cancelled my policy a couple months later and have not driven since. State Farm Insurance has taken it upon themselves to raise my boyfriends insurance just because I lived with him for a while. I have never driven his vehicles and never have I ever been on his insurance. I am extremely upset that he is being made pay for me when we are absolutely separate in our vehicles and insurance. When I bought a new vehicle we added it to my husband's State Farm policy, no problem. But shortly thereafter I moved to a different state to find a new home for us. When I transferred my policy to New Mexico I had one problem after another. First of all the agent put the wrong address on my policy and the motor vehicle department would not register my truck until that was corrected. Totally disgusted with this company. My intentions was to write a letter directly to StateFarm but couldn't find anything on the website. I normally let things roll of my back but I need to let others know my experience with this company. I have been with StateFarm for 30+ years. It was a great company in the day but the past 5-7/yrs the customer service has deteriorated. I have (8) Policies with the company and spend about $9-$10K a year between those policies. i was involves with an insurer from state farm my car was fixed my insurance co returned my deductable i was found not at fault.HOWEVER STATE FARM REFUSES TO PAY DIMINISHED VALUE EVEN WHEN 2 SOURCES WERE SUBMITTED.THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME WHAT WAS DEFFICIENT OR WHAT EVIDENCE NEEDED TO BE SUBMITTED.I ADVISED EVERYONE NOT TO BE INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT

We have been with State Farm for 27 years, We have both auto and home owners with them. We started with 1 agent and when he retired we didn't get to chose an agent but found out that we had been sent to another agent. We were told about this by letter, being a young couple we just went with it. We had no problems and we did have 1 auto claim and 2 homeowners during this time.
