I told him about a herniated disc that occurred years ago and symptoms at that time that have now been stable for years. I then told him about the acute events that occurred over a 2-3 week period that resulted in me almost not being able to walk and falling down if I didn’t have something to hold onto, which was now improved. Good appointment with Dr.Fountain
Everyone was kind, patient and helped in every way possible. Don’t want to have surgery but if I have to, I’d choose these people.
Wonderful and knowledgeable doctor. Great bedside manner and really takes his time answering all questions that I had. LOS is fortunate to have him on their team and I was very fortunate to have him as my surgeon!

I’m laughing at the horrible reviews about his patient interactions because that's precisely how my visit with Dr. Wright went! Honestly, I think he’s on the high end of the ASD spectrum and can’t help his behavior. Brilliant people are often on the spectrum, and this is evident in their personalities. I’ll work with his mannerisms for now because he may be the one doctor that can resolve my medical issues. We’ll see!
Dr. Wright spent over 1 hour with me, mostly using an interview to get more information about my symptoms. His mind was obviously quite focused on the questions he wanted to ask and he stopped me when I tried to interrupt. We either got around to my questions or I was able to add those to the end of our discussion. Dr. Wright carefully went over his findings and why he came to certain conclusions. This was the worst physician I have ever seen. He was very rude and dismissive. He didn’t look at any of my scans or MRI’s, just wrote a script for migraine meds. He talked to me like I was an idiot. I left in tears after waiting 4 months for this appointment.
After 2 years of a mystery leg, foot, and mobility issue and being brushed off by many hospitals and specialists in Memphis…and lots of feeling defeated and unheard…I was finally referred to Dr. Kumar. I immediately felt comfortable with him and he was definitely attentive and concerned with what I had to say. I finally felt like a doctor was invested in figuring out what was wrong.
