Dr Linaman listened quietly with few questions as I unburdened myself of 40plus years of manipulation and gaslighting and addiction by my husband. At the end of my nearly hourlong summary of the many many covert behaviors, tens of thousands of dollars thrown away buying rounds for bars as well as women, yet blaming me for not being a “godly wife” who actually was faithful and trusting and encouraging in my ignorance, Dr Linaman said I did nothing to cause what was done to me. Some back ground .I was sexually abused, multiple times as a child, including a leader in a Baptist church and have PTSD . I learned in treatment that This is the root cause of my maladaptive coping mechanism I developed over time to deal with painful memories and deep emotional pain . Respectful, intelligent, articulate, calm, professional, etc. Difficult to ask for much more in a therapist/life-coach. 100% recommend.
