Dr. Bauer was excellent! He can tell that he truly cares about his patients. He had excellent bedside manner and was very thorough!
Dr. Bauer is an exceptional Physician, who demonstrated compassion, empathy and caring towards me during my Chemotherapy journey. Dr. Bauer took the time to listen, talk with me, and ensured I had a complete understanding of my plan of care. He also offered options for interventions to help me cope during this most difficult and challenging time of my life. My reason for being there was concerning to me, but I cannot emphasize enough how comfortable everyone made me feel. Dr. Bauer was personable and discussed my condition with empathy and understanding of my concerns! I also felt secure, as he was knowledgeable and willing to explain my condition in detail!

Dr. Gray and our daughter Victoria Dye who works for TN Oncology highly recommended Dr. Bauer. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He was very patient answering our questions, and never got in a rush. I would recommend him to others who are battling cancer!
Arrogant know-it-all. Would not answer questions actively discouraged me from researching my cancer treatment. Refused to do anything regarding the fatigue I experienced instead telling me to go on disability - 4 YEARS later I am still working full time and have a much better doctor who actually answers my questions and works with me on MY treatment plan. Not his. If you are referred to this oncologist and you want to have an active role in your own treatment, you need to find someone else.
