When Dr. Berger came into the exam room, he was very cold. I relayed to him my eye history and the concerns previous surgeons had on potential retina detachment. He replied “that’s a good story” and began the exam. He was not gentle or explanatory with what he was doing. At one point during the first exam, he asked me to look at his right ear.
