I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Emory at Toco Hills Primary Care, particularly regarding billing transparency and the difficulty of getting anyone to address my concerns. I scheduled an appointment specifically for my annual preventive examination with Dr. Sonum Patel. As a former patient of this clinic, I feel I have to warn incoming patients regarding my personal experience. The doctor I was seeing for my annual preventative wellness exam(physical) was retiring, and I had agreed to be transferred to the new incoming doctor for my physical for the next year. They told me doing an establishment visit with the new doc was mandatory, as I am now considered a new returning patient. I ended up being billed several hundred dollars for this visit.
