Tocco is our favorite Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic (with ingredients direct from Italy that make the food taste like the meals we ate there) - hand made pastas, sauces that are light and flavorful, fresh antipasti, fish and meat dishes, Italian style pizzas, etc. The staff is attentive, professional, and friendly. Best restaurant in Winnetka. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, all top notch. And the specials— the specials are in constant rotation and the risotto is always excellent, no matter the preparation.
Tocco is the most magical place - the food is out of this world (steak is the best I’ve had in my life and better than any steak in NYC, LA or Vegas), and the staff is top notch - absolute professionals who are always warm and welcoming. Also when it’s available, don’t miss the octopus salad! Last thing, sitting outside in the summer is wonderful - you feel transported to another place- enjoy!
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food, amazing service! First time customer and I was very happy with the entire experience. And if you get a chance to meet the owner, Bruno, enjoy his amazing stories and energy! We can’t wait to go back!
The worst italian I've had in years. The ravioli tasted like a can of chef boyardee but somehow with less seasoning. Pizza was just eating raw tomato. Branzino was so tasteless that you could see it. Not a speck of seasoning on it, just a bland white filet. The ambiance was so loud you could barely talk to the people at your table. Waistaff couldnt seem to care less about making sure everyone was happy. Also slow. Horrid
