I miss working with old school car guys like this, the industry is just so different now.
When my Subaru needed new head gaskets, I started looking around town for someone to resurface the heads for me. Out of the three machine shops in town, Toby's was the most expensive but had the most modern equipment. And if you have aluminum heads like I do, they are the only outfit in town with a PCD cutter for their mill. My (somewhat limited) understanding is that PCD cutters are optimal for producing the best finish for aluminum heads.
