Toast & Jam has quickly become one of my favorite places in Lawton. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and polished, and there’s just something about the place that feels like a little escape the moment you walk through the door. The food deserves six stars if Google would let me give them. The presentation is outstanding, but more importantly, the taste absolutely lives up to it. My Dad ordered the chicken fried steak, it was 3/4 batter and the remaining 1/4 meat was pure gristle. The manager did offer another dish, he tried the chicken fried chicken and made the comment that he wasn’t sure if it was real chicken. We spent $60 for a lunch that was terrible. The manager needs to evaluate where he is purchasing his food from because it needs a VAST improvement. My family will not go back. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The service was average. The food was below average. In addition there were three hairs in my pancakes that were black. I have blonde hair. I did not ask to be compensated but it was not offered either. Both my sons and my stomach hurt when we left. I was not impressed. The coffee was good.
