Stop and got a jumbo breakfast sandwich to go the toast was half burnt eggs had no flavor but the home fries we're really good so I'm having mixed feeling and might give it one more try with something different next time

David and Sharon were awesome. My wife and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary during the day while kids were in school. They made our experience great.
Toast is by far my favorite restaurant for breakfast. The eggs meeting street is amazing. A fried green tomato topped with a scrumptious crab cake and a perfectly poached egg topped with a delicious remoulade.
First impressions are important. This place has a rude host stand an the menus are filthy and disgusting. Ended up not eating here.
Great Bloody Mary and Corned Beef Hash. You should try it when in Charleston. If there is a wait, it is well worth it, just get a bloody Mary and enjoy.

Two of my girlfriends and I went for our first time in Charleston! We emailed to make a reservation and found out they didn't take them. Sharon told us to ask for her when we came in. Originally we planned on getting there at 9:30, and ended up not being there until 11:30. We didn't ask for Sharon because we were late anyway. The staff members are amazing! Sharon and her hat were the star of the morning! I ate the Eggs Meeting and as a Marylander I actually enjoyed the SC take on the crab cake. (Maryland crab cake is still my favorite.) The one draw back of the meal were the home fries. Toast spends a lot of effort being original and the home fries seemed pre packaged. I was expecting fresh cut potatoes and was disappointed. I'd definitely recommend stopping, potatoes withstanding. The people make the make place!
